We believe sustainability consists of many layers. When creating and selling a garment many stakeholders are involved along the way. Our entire supply chain is set up to treat workers fairly and minimize the impact on our ecosystem.

All CAES creations are crafted with care and attention in Europe, with our head office and warehouse located in the Netherlands to limit the distances our clothes travels. Our manufacturing partners in Italy and Portugal are family-owned facilities that share our beliefs and allow us to closely monitor their production process. We aim to personally visit our suppliers in person multiple times per year, and have one team member permanently based in Italy to oversee local production there. This ensures that all production methods align with our ethical principles, but also allows us to collaborate closely on the development of new styles. All our suppliers have to acknowledge, sign and comply with our supplier code of conduct, which outlines the requirements surrounding important topics, such as workers’ right and animal welfare.
